Youre Standing Between Two Clouds

On one side there is a dark cloud. It is full of pain, sickness, disease, poverty, and death. All of the curses talked about in Deuteronomy 28 are swarming in circles.

There is a bright cloud on the other side. It is a white cloud with health, prosperity, peace, and life. All of the blessings talked about in Deuteronomy 28 are floating in this bright cloud.

A calm, deep voice says, "Choose."

You respond with the obvious, "I have chosen. I want life."

The deep voice tells you to continue to look into the cloud of promise. The voice says to not to look back at the darkness...

You understand quickly because you didn't and still don't want the death penalty! That's why you turned to Jesus! He died so that your sins could be forgiven and taken away from you (Psalms 103:12). He saved you.

If you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior as you were told to in Romans 10:9,10 then you have stepped out of the dark cloud into the light one.

No matter what the enemy says that you feel, see or hear, you are really saved! You have been set free from sickness, poverty, pain, and death (Isaiah 53:5,6)

As I was reminded, keep your eye on the Lord and His kingdom. He is the light. He is the cloud of freedom...

Don't look back but walk forward into the light more and more. Grow in the Lord and you'll see more clearly (John 8:12)

Jesus loves you and has set so much in place for you to have. When Jesus said it was finished in (John 19:30) He wasn't kidding. The bright light, and life inside it is very fabulous.

Don't ever be deceived into thinking that God won't give you all that He has promised you. He's not keeping any good thing from you (Psalms 84:11,12). You're accepting what life you live in. You choose.

Ouch!

There is a smile or a frown on your face when you look around at your world. One of the main things that strongly determines what you have is what you believe.

In order to accept the gifts of light, we have to start by knowing they're available and waiting for us! No wonder God told us to renew our minds in His word (Romans 12:2).

By reading, thinking, and saying what He said (Joshua 1:7,8), we place ourselves in the position to get the good things that God has already made available to us.

Think about a game of catch for a minute. There are a couple of people throwing a ball back and forth. If one moves out of the path of the ball that is coming, there will be no receiving it. If one person puts their hand behind their back there will be no receiving.

If you want to receive the promises of good from God, then make sure and read His word more often. In 2Timothy 2:15 we're told to study God's word. This isn't just browsing through a couple of verses a couple of times a year. This is the complete changing of your mind from thoughts of darkness to thoughts of light.

Do you want health, prosperity, wisdom, and family well-being? These only come from God Almighty. They won't falter or crash. There are no underlying thoughts of taking advantage of you. There is only love because God is love (1John 4:16).

Agape love is the God kind of love. It's a sure thing. It's unconditional and unemotional. It just is. God loves you. It's not short-term or temporary. It's not going to change. God wants to have a growing relationship with you.

Many people walk in the cloud of darkness and blame God for it. Don't be one of them.

God doesn't want you to turn against the good because you're deceived. He doesn't want for you to walk further and further into the dark cloud and blame Him for it. Make sure that you don't!

Find out exactly what's in the deal for you! God brings life. Satan brings the exact opposite, death. God wants a real relationship with us so He gave us the right to choose.

This is continual. All the time you can make the decision to turn from God and walk in the cloud of suffering and death. You constantly choose!

Make today a day for more good! Walk in the light! Think, say, and do as God does!
